Early life and career
Romesh Ranganathan was born on January 23, 1978, in Crawley, West Sussex, England, to Sri Lankan Tamil parents. He studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge and worked as a secondary school mathematics teacher before starting his comedy career in 2008.
Ranganathan's first major television appearance was on the BBC's Mock the Week in 2009. He has since appeared on numerous other comedy shows, including Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Taskmaster. He has also written and starred in his own sitcom, The Reluctant Landlord, which aired on Sky One in 2016.
Personal life
Ranganathan is married to Leesa Ranganathan, a children's author. They have two children together. Ranganathan is a supporter of Arsenal F.C.
