Maitre Gims
Maitre Gims, born Gandhi Djuna on May 6, 1986, in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo), is a French rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He rose to fame as a member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut, which he co-founded in 2002. After the group's disbandment in 2013, Gims embarked on a successful solo career.
Gims' music is a mix of hip hop, pop, and R&B, with influences from African and Congolese music. He is known for his catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and energetic stage presence.
