Astrid Smeplass (born 29 October 1996), known professionally as Astrid S, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. She rose to fame in 2013 after participating in the Norwegian version of Pop Idol, Idol - Jakten på en superstjerne. Following her participation in the show, Astrid S signed a record deal with Universal Music Norway and released her debut EP, "Astrid S", in 2014. The EP spawned the hit singles "2AM" and "Hurts So Good", both of which charted in the top 10 in Norway.
