Early life and career

Alan Walker was born on August 24, 1997, in Northampton, England, to Norwegian parents. He grew up in Bergen, Norway. Walker developed a passion for music at a young age and began producing electronic music in his bedroom at the age of 14.

In 2012, Walker released his first single, "Fade", on the Norwegian record label NoCopyrightSounds. The song became a viral hit and gained Walker a large following on social media.
