Christian Bolaños
Christian Bolaños Navarro (born May 17, 1984) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga FPD club Deportivo Saprissa and the Costa Rica national team.
Bolaños began his career with Saprissa in 2001 and played there until 2007. During his time with Saprissa, he won three league titles and was named the CONCACAF Young Player of the Year in 2005. He also played for FC Copenhagen in Denmark, IK Start in Norway, and Vålerenga Fotball in Norway.
Bolaños has been a member of the Costa Rica national team since 2005 and has made over 80 appearances for the team. He has played in two FIFA World Cups, in 2006 and 2014, and was part of the Costa Rica team that reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup.
Bolaños is known for his skill, speed, and creativity. He is a versatile player who can play in a variety of positions in midfield and has been used as a winger, attacking midfielder, and central midfielder.
