Olga Tañón
Olga Tañón (born April 13, 1967) is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She has won three Grammy Awards, three Latin Grammy Awards, and 33 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. She is known as "The Woman of Fire" (Spanish: La Mujer de Fuego) and "The Queen of Merengue" (Spanish: La Reina del Merengue).
Tañón was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She began her music career in 1987 as a member of the merengue group Las Chicas del Can. In 1992, she released her debut solo album, Sola. The album was a commercial success, selling over two million copies worldwide. Tañón followed up with a series of successful albums, including Éxitos y Más (1993), Siente El Amor (1994), Nuevos Senderos (1996), Te Acordarás de Mí (1997), Olga Viva Viva (1998), I'm Feeling Good (1999), Olga Tañón Y Punto (2001), and Una Nueva Mujer (2005).
