Vicky Kaushal
Vicky Kaushal is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. He is the recipient of several awards, including a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award, and a Screen Award.
Kaushal was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 16 May 1988. He is the son of Sham Kaushal, a stuntman and action director, and Veena Kaushal, a homemaker. Kaushal has two younger brothers, Sunny and Ishaan.
Kaushal studied engineering at the University of Mumbai before pursuing a career in acting. He made his acting debut in the 2015 film "Masaan". For his performance in the film, Kaushal received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Kaushal went on to star in several successful films, including "Zubaan" (2016), "Raman Raghav 2.0" (2016), "Love Per Square Foot" (2018), "Sanju" (2018), "Uri: The Surgical Strike" (2019), "Manmarziyaan" (2019), and "Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship" (2020).
Kaushal's performance in "Uri: The Surgical Strike" earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He also received the Screen Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film.
Kaushal is considered to be one of the most promising young actors in Hindi cinema. He is known for his versatility and his ability to portray a wide range of characters.
In addition to his acting career, Kaushal is also a producer. He produced the 2020 film "Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship".
Kaushal is married to actress Katrina Kaif. The couple married in a private ceremony in Rajasthan, India, on 9 December 2021.
