Juan Musso

Juan Agustín Musso Micheli (born 6 May 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Atalanta and the Argentina national team.

Club career

Racing Club

Musso began his career with Racing Club's youth system in 2008. He made his senior debut on 22 November 2014, in a 1–0 win against Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata. Musso quickly established himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper, and was part of the team that won the 2016 Argentine Primera División title.

Udinese

In July 2018, Musso joined Italian Serie A club Udinese for a reported fee of €5 million. He made his debut for the club on 19 August 2018, in a 1–0 loss to Parma. Musso was the regular starting goalkeeper for Udinese during the 2018–19 season, making 35 appearances in all competitions.

Atalanta

On 2 July 2021, Musso joined Atalanta for a reported fee of €20 million. He made his debut for the club on 21 August 2021, in a 2–2 draw against Torino. Musso has been the regular starting goalkeeper for Atalanta during the 2021–22 season, making 32 appearances in all competitions.

International career

Musso has represented Argentina at various youth levels. He was part of the Argentina team that won the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Musso made his debut for the Argentina senior team on 26 March 2019, in a 1–0 friendly win against Venezuela.

Playing style

Musso is a tall and athletic goalkeeper who is known for his good reflexes and shot-stopping abilities. He is also a good distributor of the ball, and is comfortable playing with his feet.
