Biography
Cheb Kader is an Algerian raï singer. He was born in Oran, Algeria, on June 20, 1969. He began his career as a singer in the early 1980s, and released his first album, "Khalouni", in 1987. The album was a commercial success, and helped to launch Kader's career.
Kader's music is characterized by its upbeat tempo and catchy melodies. He sings in Arabic and French, and his songs often deal with themes of love, loss, and social injustice. He has released over 30 albums throughout his career, and has toured extensively throughout the world.
Kader is one of the most popular raï singers in the world. He has won numerous awards, including the Algerian Golden Disc Award for Best Raï Singer in 1991. He is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Program.
