JJ Lin

JJ Lin (born March 27, 1981) is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is one of the most popular singers in Asia, and has won numerous awards, including 16 Golden Melody Awards and four World Music Awards.

Early Life and Career

JJ Lin was born in Singapore to Taiwanese parents. He started learning piano at the age of four, and began writing his own songs at the age of 15. In 2001, he signed a recording contract with Ocean Butterflies Music and released his debut album, Music Voyager. The album was a commercial success, and Lin quickly became a popular singer in Singapore.

Rise to Fame

In 2003, Lin released his second album, II. The album was even more successful than his debut, and it helped to establish Lin as a major star in Asia. In 2004, he released his third album, III, which was also a commercial success.

International Success
