Amr Diab

Amr Diab (Arabic: عمرو دياب, Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [ˈʕɑmɾe deˈjæːb]; born 11 October 1961) is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, and actor. Known as "The Father of Mediterranean Music" and "The Superstar of the Arab World", he is the best-selling Arab artist of all time, having sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Diab was born in Port Said, Egypt, and began his career in 1983. He released his first album, Ya Tareeq, in 1984, which was a commercial success. Diab followed up with a series of hit albums, including Ghanny Men Albak (1987), Mayyal (1988), Shawaana (1989), and Habibi (1991), which established him as one of the most popular singers in the Arab world.

Diab's music is a fusion of traditional Arab music with Western pop and dance influences. He is known for his smooth vocals, catchy melodies, and energetic stage performances.
