Paloma Faith
Paloma Faith Blomfield (born 21 July 1981) is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame in 2009 with the success of her debut album, Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?, which was certified double platinum in the United Kingdom. Her subsequent albums, Fall to Grace (2012), A Perfect Contradiction (2014), and The Architect (2017), were also certified platinum in the UK. Faith has won several awards, including a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist in 2015.
Faith was born in Stoke Newington, London, to a Spanish father and an English mother. She grew up in Dalston, Hackney, and attended the Anna Scher Theatre School. Faith began her career as a singer in 2007, when she released her debut single, "Stone Cold Sober". The single was a commercial failure, but it helped Faith to gain a following in the music industry.
In 2009, Faith released her debut album, Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?, which was a critical and commercial success. Faith's fourth album, The Architect, was released in 2017 and was also a commercial success. The album spawned the hit singles "Crybaby", "Guilty", and "Make Your Own Kind of Music".
In addition to her music career, Faith has also appeared in several films and television shows. She made her film debut in the 2013 film St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold. She has also appeared in the television shows Penny Dreadful (2014–2016), The Voice UK (2016–2017), and All Together Now (2018).
