Sofiane Feghouli is an Algerian professional footballer who plays for Süper Lig club Galatasaray and the Algeria national team. He plays as a midfielder.
Feghouli began his career at Grenoble in 2007, and moved to Valencia in 2010. He spent six seasons at Valencia, making over 200 appearances and winning the Copa del Rey in 2019. In 2016, he joined West Ham United on a free transfer. He spent one season at West Ham, making 24 appearances and scoring one goal. In 2017, he joined Galatasaray on a free transfer. He has made over 100 appearances for Galatasaray, and has won the Süper Lig three times, the Turkish Cup once, and the Turkish Super Cup once.
Feghouli has also represented Algeria at international level. He made his debut for the national team in 2010, and has since made over 70 appearances and scored 19 goals. He was a member of the Algeria squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019.
Feghouli is a versatile player who can play in a number of midfield positions. He is known for his dribbling skills, passing ability, and goalscoring prowess. He is also a good set-piece taker.
