Steve McManaman (born 11 February 1972) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
McManaman began his career at Liverpool, where he won the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup. He moved to Real Madrid in 1999, where he won the La Liga title and UEFA Champions League twice. He finished his career at Manchester City, where he won the FA Cup again.
McManaman also represented England at international level, making 43 appearances and scoring three goals. He was part of the England squad that reached the semi-finals of the 1996 European Championship.
After retiring from football, McManaman worked as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport. He also became a co-owner of Chester City F.C. in 2010.
