Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, is a Chinese-American actress, singer, and model. She gained recognition for her roles in television dramas such as "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" (2003), "The Return of the Condor Heroes" (2006), and "Chinese Paladin 3" (2009). Liu has also starred in several films, including "The Forbidden Kingdom" (2008), "Mulan" (2020), and "Night Peacock" (2021).
Liu was born in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on August 25, 1987. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she moved to New York City with her mother when she was 10 years old. Liu attended the High School of Music & Art in New York City and later studied at Peking University in Beijing, China.
Liu began her acting career in 2002 when she appeared in the television drama "The Story of a Noble Family." She gained wider recognition in 2003 for her role as Wang Yuyan in the television drama "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils."
