Charles Leclerc

Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (born 16 October 1997) is a Monégasque racing driver who currently drives for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One. He won the 2016 GP3 Series and the 2017 FIA Formula 2 Championship. He made his Formula One debut in 2018 with Sauber, before moving to Ferrari in 2019.

Leclerc was born in Monte Carlo, Monaco, to Hervé Leclerc, a former Formula Three driver, and Pascale Leclerc. He has two younger brothers, Arthur and Lorenzo. Leclerc began karting at the age of four and won the French Cadet Championship in 2005. He progressed through the karting ranks, winning the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2011 and the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship in 2012.

Leclerc made his single-seater debut in 2014, competing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps series. He finished second in the championship, winning two races. In 2015, he moved up to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, finishing fourth in the championship with two wins.

In 2016, Leclerc switched to the GP3 Series, winning the championship with four wins and eight podiums. He also made his Formula One debut, driving in two free practice sessions for Haas F1 Team.

In 2017, Leclerc moved up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship, winning the championship with seven wins and eight podiums. He also made his Formula One debut with Sauber, driving in three free practice sessions.

In 2018, Leclerc became a full-time Formula One driver for Sauber. He scored his first Formula One points in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, finishing sixth. He also scored points in the Austrian Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, and German Grand Prix.

In 2019, Leclerc moved to Ferrari, replacing Kimi Räikkönen. He won his first Formula One race at the Belgian Grand Prix, becoming the youngest Ferrari driver to win a Formula One race. He also won the Italian Grand Prix and the Singapore Grand Prix.

Leclerc is known for his aggressive driving style and his ability to overtake other drivers. He is also known for his popularity with the fans.
