Nicolás Tagliafico
Nicolás Alejandro Tagliafico (born 31 August 1992) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Arsenal and the Argentina national team.
Club career
Banfield
Tagliafico began his career at Banfield, making his professional debut in 2011. He quickly became a regular starter for the club, and helped them win the Argentine Primera División in 2012.
Independiente
In 2015, Tagliafico joined Independiente. He continued to be a regular starter for his new club, and helped them win the Copa Sudamericana in 2017.
Ajax
In 2018, Tagliafico joined Ajax. He quickly became a key player for the club, helping them win the Eredivisie title in 2019 and 2021. He also helped Ajax reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
Arsenal
In 2023, Tagliafico joined Arsenal.
International career
Tagliafico made his debut for the Argentina national team in 2017. He was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
