Biography
Lucero is a Mexican singer, actress, and television host. She is one of the most successful and popular Latin artists of all time, having sold over 25 million albums worldwide. She has also starred in numerous telenovelas and films, and has hosted her own television show for over 20 years.
Lucero was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on August 29, 1969. She began her career as a child actress, appearing in several telenovelas and films. In 1982, she released her debut album, "Te Prometo", which was a commercial success. She followed up with a string of hit albums, including "Los Parientes Pobres" (1983), "Con Tan Pocos Años" (1984), and "Siempre Contigo" (1985).
In 1987, Lucero starred in her first telenovela as a leading lady, "Chispita". The telenovela was a huge success, and Lucero became a household name in Mexico and Latin America. She went on to star in several more successful telenovelas, including "Cuando Llega el Amor" (1990), "Los Parientes Pobres" (1993), and "Lazos de Amor" (1995).
