Kalidou Koulibaly (born 20 June 1991) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Chelsea and the Senegal national team.

Born in France, Koulibaly began his career with Metz in 2010, before moving to Belgian club Genk in 2012. Two years later, he joined Napoli for a fee of €7.5 million. He quickly became a key player for the Italian club, helping them win three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia titles, and one Supercoppa Italiana.

In 2022, Koulibaly joined Chelsea for a fee of £33 million. He made his debut for the club on 6 August 2022, in a 1–0 win over Everton.

Koulibaly has also been a regular member of the Senegal national team since 2015. He has represented his country at two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Playing style:

Koulibaly is a strong and athletic centre-back who is known for his tackling, passing, and aerial ability. He is also a good reader of the game and is able to anticipate the opposition's next move.

Koulibaly is a Muslim. He is married to Charline Oudenot Koulibaly and they have two children together.
