Charles Aránguiz

Charles Aránguiz Sandoval (born 17 April 1989) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Chile national team.

Aránguiz began his career with Cobreloa, where he won the Chilean Primera División in 2012. He moved to Brazil in 2014, playing for Internacional and Grêmio. In 2015, he joined Bayer Leverkusen, where he has won the DFB-Pokal in 2019.

Aránguiz made his debut for the Chile national team in 2012. He was part of the team that won the 2015 Copa América and the 2016 Copa América Centenario. He has also represented Chile at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
